This was written by a transplanted UAW member from local 1183.

In January of 2009 Chrysler closed its doors at the Newark Plant in Newark, De. Dennis having almost 29 years in with the company; took a transfer to Belvidere IL, in order to continue working. After finally settling in thawing out and finding our way around. We sat down and wrote this song. The pictures portrayed here are of our loved ones back east, and some of our new friends we have met here in ILLINOIS. We hope you enjoy the song and the sentiment. Dennis & Suzi Maxwell
